Bottega Veneta

In Uncategorized on February 28, 2010 at 1:34 pm

This collection was by far my favourite from the Fall collections. These are just four out of the 42 looks, that Tomas Maier sent down the runway. Don’t be fooled by the dark tones of these four looks because towards the end of the show there was bright red, pink and orange on show as well.

Victoria Beckham Fall 2010

In Uncategorized on February 18, 2010 at 8:18 pm

Although Victoria Beckham dresses arent yet available in Australia, they are available online from Net-A-Porter.  From her latest collection I love the bone coloured dresses, shoes and sunglasses. Other looks included dressed in top to toe in red. True to her style her heels are sky high and the outfits are tailored to perfection. Now all we have to wait for is for Hermes to bring out a Beckham bag.

Erin Fetherston

The Erin Fetherston brand is less than 5 years old and already she is making a mark on the industry. Erin studied in both America and France to get to where she is today. Fans of her work include Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, Zooey Deschanel, Rachel Zoe and of course myself.

The thing I find most interesting about her designs is that local talent Edwina Sinclairs label “SOOT” reminds me of her work due to its fantastical nature. Both designers offer feminine, magical outfits that young girls want to wear now.

I first became aware of Erins work last year when she was featured in “The Rachel Zoe Project” and have followed her work ever since. This Fall Season is no different, with these floaty designs coming down the runway. My favourite is the sheer sleeves.

More Prefall

Although the left dress looks a little Louis Vuitton and the right dress looks a little Marchesa. The three are absolutely stunning pieces from Monique Lhuillier Prefall collection. This designer is a red carpet¬† favourite for Alyson Hannigan who plays Lily in “How I Met Your Mother”
