For Rainy Days

In Uncategorized on August 31, 2010 at 4:33 pm

Chinese Laundry Plastic Shoes. Available online or from David Jones. These shoes are perfect for those few weeks in Brisbane when it just doesn’t stop raining. The picture is a little bit blurry but they are clear and the dots are sparkles.  Also available are black, pink, green and yellow in the same style but with no sparkles and a velvet bow across the toe.

In Uncategorized on August 16, 2010 at 10:25 pm

Over the next few posts I am aiming to show the best of what was on offer at Brisbane Fashion week. I am slightly bias as George is a QUT fashion graduate but that doesn’t change the fact that this 5 year old brand has absolutely stunning pieces.  Brisbane stockists include The Tribune, Nancy King and Chasing Bow. OR just head to the website to find out more.

Opening on Friday at GOMA in Brisbane is the Valentino Past, Present, Future Exhibition. The show runs until the 14 of November and will be show casing the haute couture collections from the 1950’s to the present day. Admission is just $20 to see the most beautiful clothing created over the past 60 years. This is a rare opportunity for Brisbane that would be a real misfortune to miss.
