2012 Brisbane Raw Artist Awards.

Chelsea de Luca and Mark Neighbour have been announced as judges for the fashion and
accessories categories at RAW:natural born artists’ first Australian annual RAWards in
Brisbane.
The awards evening will be held on Friday 23 November 2012, at The Arena in Fo

A total of 38 artists will battle it out on the RAWards evening in the nine categories of fashion,
accessories, visual art, film, hair, makeup, music, performing art, and photography.
All winners will also receive a consultation with Media Arts Lawyers, $30 credit to MOO, write up
and features in Moustache Magazine and Everguide, and RAW:Australia awards and
accolades.
RAWards Australia will be the first awards evening to be held internationally since the indie
organisation made its debut in California in 2009.
Tickets to this year’s RAWards evening can be pre-purchased online at
http://www.RAWartists.org/Brisbane for $15, or $20 at the door on the evening. Doors will open at

RAW: natural born artists is currently in over 65 countries in the US and has recently come to Brisbane. So to give you a bit of an idea of what it is all about have a look at the video from their website.

 

 

The next showcase in Brisbane is this Wednesday night (26th of September) at Oh Hello, 621 Ann St, Fortitude Valley. Kicking off at 7.30pm.
To buy tickets ($15 each, which is the same as cover charge at Oh Hello) head to http://www.rawartists.org/brisbane/ensemble/?artist=69621 and select an artist that you like and you can buy tickets per artist.
This initiative is a great way to support local artists as well as encourage Brisbane to become a cultural city.
